We’re proud to collaborate with Panadol, one of Australia’s most trusted pain relief brands, on a national initiative to reduce healthcare waste. Backed by its parent company Haleon, Panadol is supporting a trial that brings free at-home blister pack recycling to all Australians.
This initiative makes recycling easy and accessible—especially for people in rural or remote areas. Anyone can now order a pre-paid satchel, fill it with used blister packs, and return it by post at no cost.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to sustainability and a clear goal: making blister pack recycling available to all Australians.
1. Request your satchel
Visit this link to register for a free satchel.
2. Fill it with empty blister packs
Ensure they’re completely empty—no leftover tablets or capsules.
3. Post it back
Drop it in any Australia Post box or take it to your local post office. No postage needed.
Once received, we process the contents using specialised equipment that separates and recovers the materials—keeping them out of landfill and in circulation.
“I’m proud to have helped bring this initiative to life,” says George Condon, Brand Representative at Haleon.
“Together we’re making recycling more accessible. We're helping reduce waste in communities across Australia.”
This satchel trial adds another option—it doesn’t replace Pharmacycle’s existing drop-off network. If in-person drop-off suits you better, that service is still available.
